I'm a Senior Data Engineer and Data Migration Consultant with 7+ years turning messy enterprise source data into trustworthy, production-ready datasets. I've owned end-to-end delivery on SAP ERP → S/4HANA migrations, built the SQL and validation layers that get business sign-off, and shipped self-service reporting that lets operational teams answer their own questions.

My work sits where SQL depth meets data quality discipline: complex transformations with CTEs, window functions and stored procedures; automated pre/post-load reconciliation; and profiling that catches problems before they hit production. I'm actively expanding into the modern stack — Python, dbt, Apache Airflow and AWS — and use AI developer tooling (Claude Code, Codex) day to day.

  • Led end-to-end ETL pipeline design and delivery for SAP Material Master migration (SAP ERP → S/4HANA), processing 80,000+ records from transformation through production load.
  • Built automated pre/post-load SQL validation & reporting to monitor record counts, quality metrics and pipeline failures — accelerating business sign-off and a controlled go-live.
  • Developed self-service reports (duplicate analysis, positive list, config comparison) so business users could analyse data independently.

IKEA Dec 2023 — Jan 2025

  • Built and optimised stored procedures for continuous integration of Business Partner data — 60,000+ records across 15+ tables — improving pipeline throughput.
  • Implemented field-level comparison logic to classify records as load-ready or flag discrepancies, strengthening data-quality controls.
  • Built the SQL data layer powering self-service dashboards for load readiness, change tracking and drill-down error analysis.

  • Owned end-to-end ADM solution development — transformation logic, validation frameworks and migration execution for Production Planning objects (BOMs, Routings, Work Centres, Batch Masters).
  • Built SQL data-quality reports catching postcode, mobile, email, duplicate bank account and SWIFT/BIC issues for timely remediation.
  • Wrote Python for automated profiling and anomaly detection; provided hyper-care support post go-live.

  • Designed and built end-to-end IBM DataStage ETL pipelines migrating data from DB2 → Teradata data warehouse, ensuring integrity and performance.
  • Wrote SQL and transformation logic within DataStage to extract, cleanse and validate data for migration and reporting.
  • Automated post-load notifications and reconciliation reports with UNIX shell scripts; scheduled and monitored jobs with AutoSys.
  • Ran unit testing, UAT and end-to-end validation to verify accuracy and completeness before production deployment.
